Q-1) Please introduce yourself to our community and kindly give us a brief intro about GEMS ?
Andy | GEMS CEO: Hi EagleRise Community! My name is Andy. I’m the co-founder of GEMS, which is an Esports 3.0 aggregator platform within an O2O ecosystem. It propels Esports into 3.0 by integrating Gamefi, Metaverse and Socialfi elements, and leverages on its founding partners’ chain of Esports hotels.
A little bit about myself, my background has always been in the Esports, tech and hotel industry. With my previous experience in Esports and the team’s expertise, I believe GEMS would become a one stop destination for gamers that integrates the young population into the new sharing economy. I have a strong belief in blockchain being the next blue ocean for Esports and that’s why I’m doing this great project with a great team!

Q-2) What does GEMS stands for and what is it ?
Andy | GEMS CEO: GEMS stands for GameFi. Esports. Metaverse. SocialFi. GEMS core business pillars include an NFT Rental, DeFi Union that introduce multiple payment models and loans to make expensive NFTs available for everyone; FanFi Studio, a cradle to nurture future gamefi talents; Other awesome features like P2E (Play-to-Earn) Arena and DAO GUILD aim to bring players together to earn via blockchain games.

Q-3) How GEMS is different from other projects ? What makes GEMS so special that it can stands out from other projects ? What is Esports 3.0 aggregator and O2O ecosystem ?
Andy | GEMS CEO: thegemsgg is a new concept in the blockchain industry. GEMS is like a STEAM plus GUILD, which leverages our online platform with an offline presence.
We have our O2O eco-system
O-ONLINE refers to the GEMS platform
2-TO
O-OFFLINE refers to our Esports hotel
We believe that GameFi will be the next Esports! Thus, we would like to build an ecosystem that enables all types of users even for non gamers to be a part of this with features with DeFi features like DeFi union, DAO Guild!
Praneel | AMA Host: Yes, i strongly believe Gamefi will be the next Esports.
Q-4) What are your plans for offline expansion ? Are you focusing or market at this time or focus on building an developing or growing the community and users, or partnerships ?
Andy | GEMS CEO: thegemsgg is proudly backed by LABS Group X Arena Esports Hotel X Game One, which are working together to expand our business in operating Esports hotels in South East Asia.
Our vision for GEMS is to own 50 offline touch points (owned hotels, hotel partnerships) by year 3, which will reach 2,733,000 people in-residence. We would like to leverage on the offline presence to the online GEMS platform.
Let me share you guys some insights which I have not shared except to this community today.
Praneel | AMA Host: Amaazing.. Seems like GEMS O2O model is coming into reality.. This shows the work and efforts of the team to acheive their projected goals..
Q-5) What achivements has GEMS achieved so far ? Can you share with us your roadmap for this year ?
Andy | GEMS CEO: We have nearly 90k members on Telegram and over 18k members on Discord. Over the past month, we have successfully attracted VCs and blockchain investors to invest in our project e.g. AvStar Capital, DEX Force, Solchicks and many more others.
With that being said, we are having over 40+ ecosystem partners including on the GameFi heavyweight segment such as Dreams Quest, Project Seed and many more. Not to mention, GEMS is currently working with our partners in Southeast Asia, in order to expand our ambitious hotel network in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Cambodia and also soon for Philippines and Indonesia.
We have a mission to provide an all rounded, fully immersive GameFi experience by integrating our online system with offline hotel touch points. So that players can gather teams and battle in competitions in our Esports and GameFi tournaments in near future!
On top of that, our team are currently focusing on the GEMS demo launcher which will be available in 2022 Q2!

Once the product is developed, one of the main challenges seems to be adoption. What are some of the plans to stimulate adoption and build out the ecosystem around GEMS?
Andy | GEMS CEO: This is a good question. Let me share this to the community here:
Our O2O eco-system is our main driver for adoption. The challenges are to come up with a seamless experience for the gamers as an all in one destination, and how to leverage and gain competitive advantages with our offline presence.

On which group of people GEMS is focusing on? How are you planning to attract the different communities?
Andy | GEMS CEO: Our main target now is still GameFi community due to it’s maturity and the opporunity for Esports 3.0 through GEMS.
There is no better solution than to leverage on offline partners to attract local and different communities. Our partners know the local country, culture & community and by using their OFFLINE presence and our partner’s Esports team. Only through this we can drive adoption at massive rate. Also Arena Esports aim to have 50 Esports locations within 3 years in South-East Asia.
Everyone are welcome to the GEMS platform! @thegemsgg are targeting young audience who are interested in our various segment of GameFi, Esports, Metaverse and SocialFi!
As we have the vision to make GameFi the next Esports, @thegemsgg will be as deem as Esports 3.0.

While too many projects are all facing serious limitations in terms of usability, accessibility, convenience and diversity of investment options, How will GEMS be different than others?
Andy | GEMS CEO: GEMS from a development / product view is currently focusing on the platform launcher.
Also let me answer directly to a point breaker concept:
1. Usability: Since GEMS is an aggregator system we have huge usability for different type of users not only limited to GAMEFI but METAVERSE and SOCIALFI as well.
2. Accessibility: GEMS is not only a online system but is a platform engineering to have different languages, offline location in SEA plus a wide range of services such as Talent Acquisition Program, Talent Agency, Streamers Hub, Fan Tokens System, PVP / Team VS Team Battle Pools
3. Convenience: GEMS will be available in web, mobile and in future PC as well.
4. Diversity: GameFi itself have huge genres of games we need to understand this first. So being a aggregator system we are able to combine all diversity within our eco-system.
Using our O2O model that is what made us special.

What is biggest focus for #GEMS at the moment and what is the first priority for the team in the next 6 months?
Andy | GEMS CEO: It will be still be our platform which will be made available with a useable NFT Rental & Subscription based marketplace [DEMO] aimed for Q2 which will be made online via https://thegems.gg/.
Our NFT rental platform is the first platform being launched and developed so that we can encourage the gamers inside of you all to adopt the new Esports 3.0 approach. Coming up next will be DAO Guild that’s to cater the Esports 3.0 gamers that we have united!

Can you tell us about #GEMS project listing plans?Specially the ones involving major exchanges, CEX and DEX. What types of partnerships you are looking for and what values would they bring ?
Andy | GEMS CEO: Good investment question and I will be able to share 1 tips for everyone. First of all, GEMS IDO will be launched on March 2022. Also we will be working with POLKABRIDGE as 1 of our main partner for launchpads. There are many strategic partners however our team collaborate to those that can create an impact to the community and contributes to ESPORTS 3.0 through GEMS as an eco-system.

Do you have any Coin Burn / BuyBack systems or any Token Burn plans to increase the value of Token & attract Investors to invest?
Andy | GEMS CEO: t.me/thegemsgg have allocated 20% to the ecosystem. Every quarter, profit will be dedicated to token buy back and burn from open market.
We will continue buy back and burn mechanism until 50% of the token total supply is burnt. The reason of having this mechanism is that it can support long term price stability and value growth.

Please tell me which one of these..Truly, you’ve done AMA in many telegram groups, so what next, what other way will you make your project more popular?
Andy | GEMS CEO: @thegemsgg token will be on BSC. It was indeed a very tough decision on what chain to choose, we decided to go with Binance Smart Chain because we found that a lot of GameFi projects are on BSC. BSC is a hard fork of the Go Ethereum (Geth) protocol, and as such, it shares many similarities with the Ethereum blockchain. Ultimately for our NFT rental marketplace will need sustainable low gas fees, hence the another vital decision to choose BSC.
